The Deputy Governor of Delta State, Professor Amos Utuama, SAN has described the Delta State Legislature as a major driving force in the attainment of the perfect synergy of the tripartite arms of government, just as the Speaker of the House, Rt Hon Victor Ochei, FNSE adduced maturity and selfless disposition of the members as the core components of the achievements so far recorded by the fifth Assembly.

These statements were made at thanksgiving service in commemoration of the first year anniversary of the fifth Assembly of the state legislature, held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Delta Province 3 in Asaba.

Professor Utuama urged Deltans to be proud of the fifth Assembly, as their deliberations have portrayed the legislature as the paragon of democratic excellence, especially as it concerns the doctrine of separation of power.

The Speaker, Rt Hon Ochei in his address, revealed that, the success recorded by the House cannot be divorced from the maturity amongst the legislators, which had engendered a progressive philosophy of good faith negotiation in the house.
