Crazy Kaita Ruin Nigeria’s Super Chickens!!!
Thu Jun, 17 2010

It took one moment of madness from undisciplined Sani  Kaita that resulted in a well-deserved red card for Nigeria’s Super “Chickens” to unravel to a more organized Greek side.

Kalu Uche put Nigeria in the lead with a well-struck freekick near the left corner of the penalty area that eluded everyone and crept in past a perplexed Alexandros Tzorvas.

But the Super Eagles' hopes took a major hit when Sani Kaita was sent off on 33 minutes after kicking out at Torosidis, the Nigerian leaving the pitch in tears.

As half-time approached Greece coach Otto Rehhagel threw on forward Georgios Samaras for defensive midfielder Sokratis Papastathopoulos as the Greeks, renowned for their defensive-minded play, seized the initiative.

The pressure paid off when Salpingidis netted Greece's first ever goal in a World Cup finals after his shot deflected into the net off Nigeria's Lukman Haruna to make it 1-1 at half-time.

Nigeria took off Peter Odemwingie for Chinedu Ogbuke Obasi at the beginning of the second half, which started in lively fashion with both sides threatening.

With less than 10 minutes gone in the second period the Africa side were forced into another substution when Uwa Echiejile replaced the injured Taye Taiwo.

As the second half wore on the game became stretched and in a dramatic spell Theofanis Gekas was denied by Nigerian goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama before Nigeria raced upfield with Yakubu Ayegbeni forcing Tzorvas into a smart save and Obasi missing a clear follow-up chance.

But minutes after pulling off a wonderful save Enyeama spilt a powerful shot by Alexandros Tziolis and Torosidis smashed in the rebound from close range, sealing the win.

Despite the defeat the Super Eagles retain a mathematical chance of reaching the knockout stages.

Everyone is rightfully annoyed with the Eagles. But when has any of us questioned our so-called ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES?????. The soccer team performance is a reflection of Nigeria in general.

Part 3: I beg Mr President do not allow this boys to receive even a penny when they come home, if greece could beat this team, i think a good secondary school team too can do that, if you doult try it. As for lar back, he did not do anything, please do not pay him too, let him go to any court he likes, he can not win, how can he man be paid N200 Million for just 5 month, you pple are bad ooo, u got men like Keshi, samson saisia but you choose to pay one old man 200 million for 5 month, na wa ooo, so na so una dey waste our money? As for Nigeria Fraud Federational (NFF) theives. Bros Goodluck Joe, sack everybody there in that glass house as them call the place. This country sef una no dey tire to disgrace us?

Part 2: But Nigerians are bad, we saw wat this guy play in the match against Argentina, no speed, ball handling 0%, can't even make accurate passes, yet they allowed him play all game, i don't believe that this guy did not pay u guys, even at a very important match as today match against Korean, i never expected to see yahkubu in the field. This was ur perfect team for the match, puting kanu, martins, peter and even atlest give utaka a chance to proving himself which i know he would have done, but you started with yahkubu, i think a scam has been played here, i want the federal government to prob this team.

Part 1: In my entire life, i have never seen this kind of players, i mean who brought this bounch of idolt to the national team, and are the pple making selection for each match becos as long as i am concern, i think there was no coach with those boys, i just read this article by Mr largeback as his name goes, if he knew that this boys were not good, why did he not drop them instead of going there to spoil his name. We had good and experience men on bench but i want to ask did they just go there to warm the bench, what are men like kanu, peter osaze, john utaka, obafemi martins doing on bench for match such as world cup? how much did Ayebeni yahkubu pay you pple, for what reason that fat mugu was allow to pay in this turnament, he boy that could hard carry him self at his quoted age? pple just go to overseas to waste their self, he got money he can not watch his weight? he got too fat that he can hardly run or even concentrate in his game.

Greetings from Kenya. Indeed Kaita committed a despicable act by kicking the poor greek boy who did not expect the wrath of the Nigerian brother. I must say I think the Nigerian team did play well. I hope that the Match against North Korea brings good tidings to Nigeria and Africa. Kaita, you've been a bad boy!

pls Nigerians should prayer harder for our super eagles bcos i don't know were the problem is coming from.Sani kaita's blunder should not repeat itself. We can't afford to leave the world cup without winning a match.I have observed with measures of great displeasure that our attacking spirit in the two matches so far is weak the coach need to re-strategise his attack. So far Vincent eyeama has been the man of match, bravo to him.

There is still much hope for Nigeria to move to Q-fanals. Nigeria always perform mirracles. I strongly hope that Nigeria will beat South Korea by 10 ZERO and Argentina must beat Greece by 5 ZERO. PLEASE DO NOT LAUGH.

It is not good to blame just one person for the failure of Nigeria as a Country, How many are we? we dont even know , this present team has no team spirit, and among the Nigeria Football federal there is no one to Motivate the Nigerian Footballers like l see how Maradona Hug and Kisses his Footballers. Let us face it we dont need all these Nigerian Billionires in our National Team, they are all tired, they are no fighter, they lack disciple whenever they are called to Play for Nigeria, Every body is after Money and we cannot move foward.

KAITA DESERVES NOTHING BUT DEATH, FOR UNRULY BEHAVIOUR TIPICAL OF NIGERIAN, A NIGERIAN RULED HIS COUNTRY OUT OF THE SOUTH AFRICA 2010
On Fri Jun, 18 2010 05:33   by Sailas Gomwalk
To a market woman, Kaita is a misfit from his first performance. He should not have featured but he is not the only bad egg. There is Haruna and he should be brought in only for 7 minutes at the end. You need to have football brain to play welland unfortunately anything goes in Nigerian. The children of the multi billlionaires would have featured if they wanted to. They are busy running for governorship to loot. What is important is for Fans to take a stand

On Fri Jun, 18 2010 03:59   by Dami
Please disband the team and invite 1000 players to camp. select these same old and tired legs again, then Nigeria would win the World Cup.
On Fri Jun, 18 2010 02:38   by Okiman
YOu guys stop blaming Kaita. Those of you who watch premiership football; have you not seen things like that? The problem was that Mr Lagerfront was Lagerbacking with his defensive tactics. I understand Everton has said Anichebe does not have any serious injury ooooo! All the left backs were going off. Wetin dem put for that side? If it were to be Monriho he would have changed tactics and played offensive bringing in more attackers. We even saw that the Greeks were getting tired. So why did Lagerfront not bring in a front man. Instead true to his name he kept Lagerbacking. NFA (No Future Ambition)

Yes it is not the fault of kaita it is the fault of qouta system, Nigeria have wonderful players but they will not be allowed to participate kaita was brought up in a riot invrolment so what do you expect from him in crucial match like that he was not detered to behave unruly showing bad examples. Please Nigerians and largerbert take heart for such a disgraceful behaviour.
