BEN TV Presenter, Fola Rahman Sets Up Foundation

London based lawyer turned presenter, Fola Rahman, of Ben Television in London has concluded plans to storm the country with a foundation set up to take care of various categories of people in the country.

Sources close to the ace presenter disclosed that the foundation initiative was a way of giving back to the community that made him what he is today, 

According to him, Rahman who has always said he would have been a bus conductor, if not for the Grace of God, said, plans to return to the country to see what to do for the people so as to contribute to bringing about the necessary changes. 

He added that Rahman has the passion and strong feelings that we can achieve much in the Nigerian entertainment industry so he plans to “come to make his own input”.

It is on record that Rahman has helped the likes of Tu face, Tony Tetuila, Jide Kosoko among other artistes and individual in the country to secure their traveling document abroad without much problem.

TO MR FOLA RAHMAN: Sir, would you please be so kind to clear what must be a simple error. As a lawyer, I have checked with The Law Society, the OISC (immigration advice regulator for UK), and i have been unable to find you registered or regulated as a lawyer/solicitor/immigration adviser. Indeed, OISC struck you off. There is no record of a law degree in your name. Please help us.

i sincerely apologies for the comment i wrote about Mr Rahman i was paid to write nasty things about him, its truely because of his political ambition i have never met him and my name is not ogun yomi. i will not be part of this again i realised we need people like Mr. Rahman in our system of governance. i will be oblige to disclose the identity of the person that sent me should they want to continue.

i am a lawyer here in the US.i will advice Rahman to make defamation of character claim against this news web and sue them for libel. their action has caused him harm and injury damage of reputation and also damage to operate in his profession. this should serve as an example to nigeria newspapers who allow or write false things about people they need to do their proper check before loading it on thier site. i will try and assist in dealing with them.

Fola Rahman is our son we have done our checks with the appropriate authorities and individual before we invited him to come and represent our constituency. we believe that you all in the diaspora should have atleast help one of you to become your voice in the legislative house, he still knows your problems better than us. dont let your story be like the story of crabs. when you gather crabs in a basket you dont need to close the basket you can walk away because non of it will escape why? because as one is trying to climb up others will be pulling it down. give him a chance he may be the one that will bring the change. thank you all

Fola Rahman is a well respected Nigerian who has contributed so much to our community in the diaspora.the comment of ogun is either politically motivated or from the same person who claim to be Dr.mansul or pastor Emmanuel may be his real name is cypian amgbah and people should search for that name on the internet.

fola rahman is a fraudster conning innocent nigerians based in uk. am a victim.I lost more than 5,000 pounds to him.what really pained me is the false pretence of holier than attitude he displays.he is a deacon at RCCG house of praise.God will judge him for his heartless & evil ways,bringing misery and untold suffering to innocent families.of recent he said there are up to 20thousand nigerians in uk prison but the HOME OFFICE disputed the claim saying it's only 734 nigerians.if somebody like him is elected a senator....your guess is good as mine

I believe we should not get carried away with the fanfares of people from overseas who seek political offices. We cannot say for sure what these Nigerians truly are outside the shores of Nigeria. Take for instance, Ibori was a convict in the UK, Bayo Ojo, the former AGF was disbarred from the English bar yet they scaled into political prominence because nobody asked questions. WE need to know who Fola Rahman is? Let him answer the questions. they are very simple. Is he a UK solicitor as he claimed? what is his roll number and law office registration number? This facts can be confirmed in seconds. I am a UK based solicitor and can assist to resolve this matter. Nigerians should be careful...examine your candidates or else you will be fooled again, again and again.

it is quite appauling the likes of so called 'Dr' and 'Pastor' are determined to destroy a fellow nigerian's ambitions without any tangible or credible reason. Perhaps your level of reasoning or intellectual accumen is so low you cannot fathom maybe, just maybe, those who are tired of the ridiculous state of OUR so called federal republic will rather put up than shut up and sit back like 'no-gooders' like you. Fola Rahman is a builder (from personal experience and that of others in the UK), he's been helping lay people understand the legal system here for some years now. These comments from Mansul and Pst Ebenezer seemed to have been deliberately addressed to Mr. Fola Rahman to discredit him. I now this man personally and I know he is not a conman whatever he is, he has helped several Nigerians in the Diaspora and the information you people claim you have, you could only have gotten from his detractors, thank God we know there are people who hate him enough to go to any extent to destroy him, am sure very soon he will come out to defend himself.

You are not a Solicitor or Barrister in the UK, and you are not a Solicitor/Barrister in Nigeria. That you have a law degree does not make you a legal practitioner. A legal practitioner can either be a Solicitor or Barrister as in the UK or combination of the two in Nigeria. Your credibility as a senator to be is in doubt because you have started it with lies and you will also lie when you get to the senate. You are decieving Nigerians and people from your locality about your credentials; have you even completed your Masters programme you claim to have.
